Summer Lopez is an award-winning writer whose work first appeared in Sassy at age sixteen. Today Summer is the international bestselling author of seven genre titles, published under pen names.
Summer has founded two magazines: Local Mountaineer, covering extreme sports in the 1990s, and We Are 40, featuring pop culture essays from Gen X.
A former producer, Summer premiered three films at the Sundance Film Festival, including Pretty Dead Girl, which garnered her representation by William Morris Endeavor, and West Bank Story, which won an Academy Award.
She holds a degree in production from University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts.
Summer lives in Lake Tahoe with her son, where she is at work on her upmarket debut. Her collection of stories, Daughters of Roe, will release May 1, 2021 and is available for pre-order.
